We are looking for someone who
- Is a non-smoker
- Doesn’t use drugs or abuse alcohol
- More or less shares our politically progressive ideology and values
- Is financially stable enough that rent and utilities aren’t a strain
- Cleans up after her/himself and wants to live in a relatively clean environment
- Will share in the household chores and clean the common-space once every five weeks (or as an alternative to cleaning, chip in $25 per month for a house cleaner)
- Is queer/diversity friendly, tolerant, and open-minded
- Is able to directly talk about an issue instead of letting it build up
- Has an easy going personality
- Isn’t allergic to cats
- Can commit to following the House Rules
- Agrees not to leave dirty dishes in the sink
- Agrees to keep the deadbolt locked and the alarm on
- Agrees not to let guests smoke cigarettes in the house
